I’m very intrigued by the African continent, maybe because it seems to get left out compared to some of the other continents! A huge draw to Africa, is of course, the wildlife. It’s one of the best safari destinations in the world! One of my favourite travel experiences was my tour from Marrakech, with a stay in the Atlas Mountains and then a camel trek for a night camping in the desert!

There is so much of Asia that I need to explore! It’s the largest continent in the world and is made up of over 40 countries. From islands, to mountains, to bustling cities, there is so much to see and do. South East Asia is popular for backpackers and budget travellers.

For me, Australia was first place on my bucket list! A ‘once in a life time destination’ has since turned into 3 trips ‘down under’, with a total travel time of around 8 weeks. In the southern hemisphere, the seasons are ‘upside down’…so winter is during the months of June – August and summer is December – March. Even in winter, temperatures in Australia are pleasant.

I recommend hiring a car or camper van and doing a road trip. Otherwise an alternative option is to fly between the cities. Queenstown, New Zealand is perfect for thrill seekers, with many different adrenaline fuelled activities on offer!

North and Central America is wildly diverse. From the mountains of Canada, to the National Parks of the USA to the tropical islands of the Caribbean, there’s something for everyone.

Peak travel season also varies. During the winter (Dec – March), is peak ski season in the mountain resorts, but for those that don’t enjoy the cold, they flock south of the lower states or Central America and the Caribbean to avoid rainy season/hurricane season.

Summer (June – August) is a good month for travel in the USA and Canada when temperature are warmer but is popular as its the school summer break time.
