Being a British Expat in America I see a lot of other Expats struggling to find decent flight prices when it comes to visiting home. The idea of this section of my site is that I will keep an eye on popular flight routes, giving you a quick glance reference guide to see when the cheapest times to fly are and what airlines and stopovers offer the best way to get between the USA and the UK. (American’s wanting to visit the UK…this works for you too! I will update this page at the end of every month in effort to keep things fresh. Please be aware that flight prices fluctuate constantly though!

I will start by picking major USA hubs flying into mainly London and Manchester. If you’d like me to keep an eye on a particular route, please feel free to comment below or send me an email. This is for YOUR benefit after all!
I will try and find sensible routes for the best prices…I’m not going to stick you on a 30 hour flight to save $40! I’ll also look for the average price for the month, giving you an idea for travelling with the best option of days!
Everything I list is booked as ONE ticket, so luggage may be checked right the way through, if there’s a layover the airline will help you out if you miss it etc etc. In some cases, it may be cheaper to fly into an airport and then fly on to your final airport using someone like Ryanair. For example, in the summer it was cheaper for me to buy a return ticket to Dublin on United, then buy a 2nd ticket with Ryanair from Dublin to London Stansted. I even stayed at a hotel in Dublin on the way home and it was still cheaper than buying a whole ticket direct from Chicago to London!
