OK so this post isn’t exactly my regular style of travel content, but for me it’s a big focus of 2019. I need to find ways to deal with my stress and anxiety because it’s started to affect me in more ways than one, and as you can imagine, I’m NOT OK with that. So I decided to share some of my favourite free yoga and meditation resources for stress and anxiety, that I use and someone else may find beneficial!
So you’re in Chicago, yay! What better way to see the city than from a bird’s eye view from up one of the two observation decks!? (If you’ve flown into Chicago O’Hare over Lake Michigan, you’ll probably agree it’s a pretty impressive approach!) You may be a little pushed for time and only want to go up one, but which observation deck is better? 360 Chicago or Skydeck? I’ve now been to both and hopefully can provide you with a little insight which may help you in your decision making!
Goga. Yep, goat yoga is very much a thing and it’s absolutely BRILLIANT. I first discovered it watching the local Iowa news and within an hour or so I had booked myself onto a session. I’ve become obsessed with yoga since moving to the States and you can’t deny that baby goats are ridiculously cute, so it seemed like the perfect combination!
