2015 has been CRAZY, I can’t believe how fast it’s gone! This is a review of my year, the places I’ve been, the things I’ve done, some of my travel highs and lows! I plan on turning this into a monthly feature, but for now, this is what the whole of 2015 has been like for me!
Because of our situation, it was easier for us to get married in a registry office. We were allowed to choose two readings for during our ceremony BUT they weren’t allowed to contain any mention of religion. I had no idea where to start so randomly searched for quotes in Pinterest and Google that would suit a marriage of a long distance couple. The ‘Apache Wedding Blessing’ was on the short list, but these were the two that turned out perfect for us!
I had never been one for the whole ‘girliness’ of a wedding, so rather than do what was expected, I scrapped everything and done it in a way that stayed true to who I am. I’m proud of our story, the fact that we didn’t let the 4000 miles that separated us, get between us, so I almost wanted our wedding to be a celebration of that because it is such a HUGE part of our relationship. So here’s how we created our multi-national travel themed wedding.
