It’s no secret that I love my DJI Spark drone! It gives you a whole different perspective of your surroundings. As a camera, I find that the pictures come out so well that they require minimal editing…most of these photos have had no editing at all! It’s small enough that I’ve still been able to carry on travelling with just cabin baggage, despite having all the extra gear.
As a fairly new drone pilot I’m still learning the ins and outs of travelling with a drone, but I thought I would share with you some of my experiences so far! I bought a DJI Spark because it’s one of the smallest drones out there, yet still produces good images and videos! One of my biggest priorities when I bought it, was that it had to be small enough to be able to travel with easily! But it’s not as simple as getting on a plane and then sending it up when you arrive in the destination, there’s a lot to consider.
As if I needed anymore camera gear! I now use my iPod, iPhone, Canon Powershot (point & shoot), GoPro Hero 3, DJI Spark Drone, all the necessary mounts and travel tripods and now I’ve added an 80mm Crystal Ball (or Spherical Lens) to the collection and I love it…even though it does weigh the same as a baby elephant…Here are some of my tips for Crystal Ball photography!
