I am a huge fan of packing light. If I can travel with only a backpack, I will. If I have to check a bag or am going on a longer trip, I’ll take the smallest suitcase/roller holdall I can find. I couldn’t imagine anything worse than having luggage the same size as me and having to haul it in and out of cars, off and on public transport, up and down stairs when the accommodation has no lift/elevator.
