You may have noticed that I’m slightly obsessed with my Fitbit Flex. Now more than ever because I signed up for Run The Year, a just for fun fitness challenge with the aim of walking/running/hiking 2,017 miles in 2017! To put this into perspective, to complete this alone, it would mean doing 5.5miles (13,000 steps) EVERYDAY for the whole year! Don’t worry, you can also sign up with a buddy and complete the challenge as part of a team!
We’ve always used our Christmas tree as a way to display our memories. Whenever I travel, I try to find my Mum a Christmas decoration as a gift (Travel Souvenirs: Christmas Edition). Now I’m living in America, I’m starting my very own travel/memory tree!
I can’t remember exactly how old I was, early high school years maybe, a family friend of ours had just returned from travelling around Australia. Every time he had rang home, his mum had put a pin on a map, I thought it was awesome. He then showed me the photos of him climbing up the Sydney Harbour Bridge and that was it, I knew I had to do it too…climb up a bridge, how cool!!! From that point, I had made it my goal that one day I would visit Australia, 10000 miles away. It was the first thing on my bucket list and something I was desperate to complete ASAP.
