Sa Calobra sits on the north coast of Mallorca, Spain. It’s a small port village around 1 hour 30 from Palma. I visited Sa Calobra as part of a Mallorca island tour which has travel by coach, boat, tram and train. It can be reached via boat from Port de Soller or the road through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which is an attraction in itself! Mallorca (also know as Majorca), the largest of the Spanish Balearic Islands, is home to some amazing beaches with turquoise sea. A ‘cala’ is a small cove or bay and Cala d’Or (meaning ‘Golden Bay’) has several to explore! In this post I share a guide to the best Cala d’Or beaches that can be found on the eastern side of the marina (towards Cala Ferrera). 12 Awesome Things To Do In Cala D’Or, Mallorca | Cala D’Or Guide Spain

Cala d’Or is a tourist town located on the east coast of Mallorca (also known as Majorca – the largest of the Spanish Balearic Islands). It’s approximately 60km (1hr drive) from Palma and the airport. There is a wide selection of hotels and resorts to suit a variety of budgets. But be aware that if travelling via an airport transfer bus, travel times to Cala d’Or can be closer to 2 hours depending on stops.
