There are several different things I take into consideration when planning my travels. A big one is the attractions that are available in the area, I’ll often base myself close to the places I want to visit! One of these 3 Ocho Rios excursions was the whole reason Jamaica made it on to my bucket list! These excursions are perfect for those that love a bit of adventure when they travel!
Do adrenaline junkies ever get scared? In short, yes. I consider myself an adrenaline junkie to a certain extent. I’ve always been obsessed with theme parks and rides, I done my first skydive when I was 17, my Dad even had to come along with me because I was too young to sign my own waiver form! I’m by no means a professional, I’m hardly going to start base jumping but I enjoy trotting round the globe, hunting for activities that are within reach to anyone with a give it a go attitude. To most of my friends and family, I look fearless, my photos often make them feel sick, but there is one activity that I’m still wary of and have even chickened out of on a couple of occasions.
I do everything at 100mph, it takes a lot to actually stop me in my tracks and go ‘woah this is actually awesome’. Being the adventure/adrenaline traveller I am, believe it or not, I’m not always satisfied with just the ‘3D image’ of scenery. I sometimes need the 4D element to really appreciate it. I need to feel it, be part of it, truly experience it. Fresh water swimming makes a change from the burning salt water of the sea! Here are my 3 favourite waterfall swims.
Everyone seems to go all gooey whenever I have to re-tell the story of how me and Jesse met. It’s been referred to as a fairy tale and makes people feel happy that despite all the negativity in the world, there are still glimpses of positivity.
