I thought I’d share my favourite thing I’ve done in Dublin, Ireland! If you’re after something that doesn’t involve alcohol or museums but is something a bit more active and challenging, yes, right in the city centre, I think I’ve found it! Located at the Dublin Grand Canal Dock (roughly a 25 minute walk from the main centre) is Wakedock, a cable wakeboarding park! What is wakeboarding? Think snowboarding, mixed with water skiing and you’re not far off! I first learnt to wakeboard behind a speed boat, cable parks eliminate the boat. When it comes to theme parks and ‘extreme sports’, I’m the equivalent of a plane spotter. Not only do I love a good kick of adrenaline, but I’m a sucker for the stats; height, speed, depth, inversions, g force etc etc but AGE isn’t normally something that comes up very often. Are You Brave Enough For These Top Las Vegas Thrill Rides?!
Las Vegas, the casino city in the middle of the Nevada Desert, USA. Known primarily for its wild parties and gambling, I don’t like either of those so why did I end up in a place I should have hated? I made one loop of a casino and didn’t understand how any of the machines worked, I just wanted to spend maybe $5 just to say I had done it and ended up giving up.
