Snapshot Sunday: Tower of London Poppies

Tower of London Poppies

As it’s Remembrance Sunday, I thought I’d share a photo from August 2014 when the Tower of London was surrounded by ceramic poppies to commemorate 100 years since WW1 started.  Altogether there were 888,246 poppies, one for each of the English servicemen that died during the war.  We visited during one of Jesse’s trips to the UK so it was a nice little touch for him to be able to see one of the London landmarks looking so unique!
